Friends of St. Charles Public Library is an adult
group that helps the Library by raising funds to
support special programs for patrons of all ages
and to purchase equipment that is beyond
the Library's regular budget.

Sponsored by the Friends, the Junior Friends are middle school students in grades
6 - 8 who volunteer their time in the Youth Services Department.

Junior Friends shelve books, help with programs, and do some "behind the
scenes" jobs.

The Junior Friends hold children's book sales twice a year. Funds raised are used
to purchase items or sponsor programs that enhance the Youth Services Department.

Interested middle school students are encouraged to place their names on the
waiting list either at the ASK ME Desk or by filling in the form below. Openings
each fall, winter, and summer are limited. For more information, contact the Youth Services ASK ME Desk.
